IMPORTANT NOTE: Creature Features is an outdoor event.  These screenings take place outdoors in a tented structure which will provide shelter from the elements. But – it’s October, it’s nighttime, it might be cold, and the movies at least 90 minutes, so wrap up warm, wear layers, whack on your mittens, bring a blanket and fill your flask with your favourite hot drink! Come a little early for tea, coffee and coddle from our trader, Shergar’s Retreat!

  • Coming on foot? Please enter through the main front gate at Botanic Road.
  • Need to park? Parking is available at the Botanic Gardens car park (charges apply, space may be limited)
  • Latecomers won’t be able to park in the car park, but you will be able to exit the car park if you need to leave early.
  • Please go to the Visitor Centre on arrival to check-in with our Box Office team and collect tickets / have your tickets scanned.
  • This is a fully seated event. Seating is unreserved – we advise arriving in good time so you can choose your preferred seat

Bram Stoker Festival are thrilled to welcome Dublin’s bravest movie fans to the National Botanic Gardens for Creature Features, 3 nights of adults-only horror-comedy screenings within the garden walls. Gather your friends for after-hours shenanigans and natural-horror thrills, with the stunning Victorian glasshouses of the Botanic Gardens as a suitably spooky backdrop.

Kitsch and surreal 1980s comedy-horror-musical Little Shop of Horrors tells the story of a skid-row florist’s “mean green mother” of a monster plant’s insatiable appetite for human flesh. Wrap up warm and enjoy this special screening amongst the rustling leaves at the National Botanic Gardens!
