Stoker on Stoker

Venue: Your Home – via Rte.ie/Culture
Fri 30 Oct – Mon 2 Nov

Great grand-nephew of Bram Stoker and best-selling international co-author of Dracul, Dacre Stoker’s compelling audio-visual presentation gives an intimate insight into Dracula’s history within Stoker family lore, examining Bram Stoker’s life in Dublin and London, separating fact from popular fiction, and revealing the truth about all things Stoker and Dracula.

Stoker on Stoker explores the issues behind the mysteries that have baffled Dracula scholars and fans since the book’s publication in 1897. Illustrated with Dacre’s own collection of seldom-seen historic images, and the background research used for his prequel novel Dracul (Penguin Random House, 2018) co-authored with JD Barker, Stoker on Stoker is a glimpse into the life of the mysterious author of one of the world’s most famous books.
