Bolands Mills, Dublin’s newest cultural landmark in Grand Canal Dock, welcomes you to a fun night of shared secrets and spine-tingling surprises.

 

At this special, over-18s edition of Seanchoíche (the hugely-popular storytelling night), audience members will take to the mic and share their true stories of disturbing encounters, haunted memories and unexplainable moments from their lives.

 

Expect an electric atmosphere and some chills down your spine in the striking surrounds of the historic Bolands Mills. This event is fully licensed, so grab a drink, find a seat and settle in for a night of unforgettable stories from the shadows.

Entry

Entry has no steps and it is flat with a slight incline up to the stretch tent on the square.

Space

The venue is located in an outdoor stretch tent. Please dress for all types of weather, as the event takes place in an outdoor tented space. While the tent provides cover, it can still feel cool or breezy depending on the conditions.

Accessible Bathroom / WC

An accessible toilet is available on the ground floor in a building beside the stretch tent and it has handrails. It needs to be accessed by a key code. Event security and event staff can provide the access.

Bar

There will be a bar serving beers and cocktails.

Performance Space

The stage will be at the front of the tent on a low riser, with audience seating arranged in 120 chairs divided into two sections of 60 each, separated by a centre aisle. Wheelchair accessible seating will be located at the back, with three spaces reserved for wheelchair users, each paired with a companion seat, making a total of six seats/spaces.

This is a seated event with moveable foldable chairs.

Sound

A PA system will be used. There will be no music as this is a spoken word event.

Lighting

No strobe lighting will be used. Atmospheric lighting will be used in the venue.
