More Than 60,000 People Enjoy Our 2025 Festival!

More than 60,000 people took part in events at Dublin City Council Bram Stoker Festival 2025, as the city was once again transformed into a playground of imagination, mischief and the macabre.

Tens of thousands lined the streets for the Macnas Parade, which returned to the city centre with record crowds for its spectacular celebration of Samhain, cementing its place as one of Dublin’s most loved free cultural events. Over 20,000 people enjoyed Stokerland in St. Patrick’s Park, where for two days families and the eternally young enjoyed an entirely free, pop-up Victorian fun park.

Almost every ticketed event in the four-day festival sold out, from late-night cabaret and Gothic theatre to candlelit concerts and immersive experiences. A full one-third of the programme was free, ensuring the festival remained accessible to audiences of all ages across the city.

This year’s edition also saw the festival partner with more Dublin businesses than ever before, strengthening its ties to the city’s night-time economy and hospitality sector. The 2025 programme featured collaborations with Ireland’s leading national institutions, including the Abbey Theatre, the National Concert Hall, the GPO Museum, the National Museum of Ireland andProject Arts Centre.

Dublin City Council Bram Stoker Festival continues to celebrate Dublin’s Gothic heart and Ireland’s authentic connection to Hallowe’en, bringing world-class creativity to the streets, stages and secret corners of the city each October.
