The Civic Offices bus stop is 95m from the theatre (routes 4, 23, 24, 37, 39, 39A, 39X, 51D, 60, 69, 69X, 70, 73, 80, 860).
Nearest Luas: Four Courts (Red Line, 450m) and Westmoreland Street (Green Line, 700m).
Nearest car parks: Jervis Street, Q-Park Christchurch, Q-Park Fleet Street, and Q-Park Four Courts.
There are 5 disabled parking bays on Fishamble Street around the corner (note Fishamble St is one-way southbound). Much of Temple Bar is cobbled and features an incline approaching from Trinity College.
Entry
Main foyer entrance has 10 external steps (12 total including 2 internal) with a boundary railing. From foyer to Banquet Hall level is 26 steps (flights of 6 and 7 with twin handrails).
Wheelchair access is provided directly via the Exchange Street Lower fire escape doors. A temporary ramp is placed by staff to navigate the entrance step. A permanent ramp winds around the Boys’ School perimeter connecting to all building levels.
Space
The Boys’ School ground-level studio is connected by an internal ramped walkway linking the theatre foyer and Banquet Hall.
Accessible Bathroom / WC
Two accessible bathrooms: one on the Main Space theatre foyer level, and one on ground level between the Black Box and Main Space.
Bar
Foyer Bar counter is 121cm; Banquet Hall Bar counter is 117cm. Sells soft drinks, beers, wines, spirits, chocolate snacks, and gluten-free ginger beer. Paper straws available. No hot food.

Sound
No induction Loop system in the Boys’ School studio due to intimate room acoustic dynamics.
Lighting
Public foyers and circulation corridors are lit with bright fluorescents. The performance space is dimmed prior to curtain, completely darkened during performances, and lit by theatrical stage lights.
Quieter Room
Smock Alley is unable to offer designated quiet spaces.
