Embrace the spookiest season at this 90-minute Freaky Flipbook Workshop where you’ll craft animations starring your favourite Hallowe’en monsters. Ideal for budding artists and animation fans, this hands-on workshop introduces children to the art of hand-drawn animation, bringing their monstrous visions to life.
Led by the award-winning team from Speak Broccoli, known for their expertise in stop-motion and flipbook animations, this session includes live demonstrations, easy-to-follow drawing guides, and engaging hands-on activities. All materials are provided and kids will leave with their very own flipbook—a perfect keepsake from a spellbinding day!
Join Joseph Orr and Sinéad Doyle as they bring this unique art form to Dublin City Council Bram Stoker Festival for the first time – an unmissable event for creative families this Halloween season.
Each child may be accompanied by one adult. As space is limited, parents are welcome to stay for the first few minutes to help their child settle in. After that, you’re welcome to enjoy the library & exhibition upstairs (free of charge) and/or relax in the garden. If your child has additional needs, please contact us once you have purchased your ticket(s).
